If you want a dessert that makes jaws drop — this is it. Skillet cookies turn ordinary cookie dough into a warm, gooey, shareable masterpiece. Perfect for any day you want to treat yourself, or as the grand finale for a special occasion.

You’ll Need:

Any cookie dough (homemade or store-bought)
A buttered cast iron skillet (one large or several mini skillets)
Ice cream + toppings (sprinkles, caramel, hot fudge, whipped cream… you name it!)

How to Make:

Preheat oven to 350°F.
Butter your skillet generously.
Press room-temperature cookie dough evenly into the skillet.
Bake until the edges are golden but the center is still slightly underdone — this keeps it gooey (watch your first batch for timing).
Remove from the oven and let it rest just a minute or two.
Top with scoops of ice cream, sprinkles, caramel drizzle, or anything you love.

Our Vision: To Create Delicious Moments

Meet Lisa Belle, our founder, passionate recipe creator, and purveyor of all the MoonScoops deliciousness. As a young girl, Lisa grew up immersed in the love of homemade food. She watched and helped her Italian grandmother and mother hand-make pasta, while her father always had a sourdough starter bubbling and fresh-baked bread ready for the table. Baking cookies and crafting specialty desserts was more than just a pastime—it was a cherished way of life that inspired her passion for creating joyful food experiences.

Diagnosed with celiac disease, Lisa embraced the challenge of reimagining her favorite recipes to be entirely gluten-free. This personal journey became a mission to ensure MoonScoops could be a welcoming place for everyone, offering incredible treats that meet the needs of those with food allergies. Today, MoonScoops is proud to be 100% gluten-free, delivering treats that are as inclusive as they are delicious.

Lisa carries on these traditions with her family, using food and treats as a way to connect and celebrate. Watching the joy sweep across someone’s face with the first taste of a treat is what fuels her passion. MoonScoops was born from these traditions, memories, and her dedication to creating inclusive desserts—and we’re honored to share them with you.
